~MY REVIEW~

I've had the privilege of following Ms. Harris' writing career for a few years now. Every time I've opened a new story from her, it's been like slipping on a favorite sweater and getting cozy in front of a roaring fire with a new adventure awaiting me between the pages. Just Like Pulling Teeth was no different. Her classy style of writing is a perfect balance of detail and 'left to the imagination' so the reader gets effortlessly pulled into the story, and is happy to stay there until it's over.

Through Ms. Harris' words, you feel Aiden's pain as impacted, and infected, wisdom teeth force him to find a dentist. Not realizing he's being set up by his sister, he sets an appointment with Dr. Sebastian Gibbs at her recommendation. Turns out the good-looking Brazilian doctor is single, and gay, making him a potential candidate for Aiden's affections. What progresses is a slow dance of taking care of business before pleasure. The two men become friends, then eventually more, while the weeks of dental treatment go by.

Harris does a brilliant job of combining humor, low drama, and love into this delightful afternoon read. It might be titled Just Like Pulling Teeth, however reading it is anything but!
