Because calling the shots is one of the beautiful perks of being self-published.
And because, for a tiny bit of effort on my part, maybe I can help a soldier 'escape' their harsh reality for a couple of hours by giving them a book to disappear into.
Of course my novels are in paperback, that's to be expected, but I made the decision to put my novellas into print form as well so that I could make a larger donation of books going overseas to Kuwait and Afghanistan.
Quite the collection of donations they've got going, isn't it?
What that means for my readers, whether they be civilians or soldiers, is that if you want an autographed copy, you can now get one ... and for cheaper than ordering from Amazon.
Unfortunately, I have to set my prices at minimums determined by Createspace; so they have to be more when listed on Amazon or other sites.
However, what I can do, is extend the benefit of my cost when ordering direct from the printer, to YOU.
